Notts YFC 80th AGM 🌾🏆

Thank you to everyone who came along to the AGM last night at Newark Showground.

We wish our new County Chair, Oliver from Collingham YFC all the best in his new role. He will be ably supported by Josh and Niamh, County Vice Chairs. Thank you to Chair, Jess, who also attended the meeting and presented the Club of the Year award.

Well done to all the members and clubs who received trophies and certificates for their work throughout the year and thank you to all the members who have taken on new roles this year- we are looking forward to the year ahead!

Our President, Calum, chaired the meeting and thanked our outgoing County Chair, Jess, for her hard work in making the 80th year of Notts YFC so special! ✨

The President’s Award was awarded to Gina, who is leaving her role as Safeguarding Officer at Notts YFC after 18 years. A huge thank you to Gina for everything she has done, supporting our members when they have needed it most. We’re pleased to say Gina will be taking on a Field Officer role, so won’t be going far!

It was a great evening attended by our sponsors, advisors, supporters and volunteers. Thank you to everyone who continues to contribute to the success of Notts YFC. 🌾✨

Thank you to Halam Events and The Waggon at Halam for organising the Halam Harvest Supper in aid of Notts Young Farmers’ Clubs. 🌾🚜🍏

It was a fantastic evening organised in conjunction with Halam Parish Council.
Guests enjoyed roast porchetta followed by apple pies and crumbles, donated by The Waggon and local villagers. Following Halam tradition, any remaining pies were auctioned, raising funds for Notts YFC. 💚

Josh, our Vice County Chair, made a speech thanking everyone for their support and talked about the work we do.

Thank you to Gemma and Jo at Halam Events Team for organising the quizzes, games and raffle. Thank you to all the local businesses who donated prizes- The Waggon at Halam, Norwood Park Golf / Maceys' Golf Store & Driving Range, Halam Salon, and Taylor’s.

The Halam Harvest Supper raised in excess of £780 for Notts YFC! Thank you to everyone for your support!
