Coed Lleol works with people of all ages- and this summer has been a brilliant reminder of just how much of our work involves children, young people and families across Wales. ☀️🌳

From fun days and family sessions to woodland wellbeing programmes with schools and young people, we’ve been supporting younger people to spend time outdoors, try new skills, play, make things and build confidence in the woods.

There have been campfires, den building, hammocks, nature crafts, games, cooking, water play and plenty more!

And this work doesn’t stop with the summer. Coed Lleol projects across Wales will continue creating opportunities for children, young people, families and adults to access nature and spend time outdoors.

On Monday at our fortnightly sessions in Talbot Memorial Park in Taibach, we made these wonderful mushroom ornaments with Lydia from Wild Heart Wales - Forest School and Nature Craft Using some hazel and recycled electrical copper wire we handmade these mushrooms using a bill hook, saw, and sandpaper.
