Energy Efficiency Officer - Warm, Safe and Connected

💡 Join Our Team! Energy Efficiency Officer 💡

Do you want to help people stay warm, reduce their energy costs and improve their quality of life?

Age Connects Neath Port Talbot is recruiting an Energy Efficiency Officer to support older and vulnerable residents experiencing fuel poverty, rising energy bills and cost of living pressures.

You'll provide practical energy advice, carry out home visits and community outreach, help people access grants and support schemes, and make a genuine difference to local residents facing financial hardship.

📍 Based: Alfred Street, Neath (with travel across Neath Port Talbot and Swansea)
⏰ 22.5 hours per week
💷 Circa £28,800 p.a.
🌴 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
📅 Initially funded until July 2028 (with opportunity for extension)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team and help vulnerable households become more energy efficient, financially resilient and confident in managing their energy needs.

Would you like to make a real difference to the lives of older people across Neath Port Talbot and Swansea?

Age Connects Neath Port Talbot is looking for a passionate and motivated Community Development Officer to lead the delivery of our Good Neighbour Scheme.

This rewarding role will help tackle loneliness, isolation and disadvantage by supporting older people to stay connected, independent and active within their communities. You'll work closely with volunteers, community groups and partner organisations to deliver practical support and improve wellbeing.

📍 Based: Alfred Street, Neath
⏰ 37.5 hours per week (job share considered)
💷 Circa £28,800 p.a.
🌴 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata)
📅 Initially funded until 31 March 2027 (with opportunity for extension)
