Grounds for celebration: we are excited to announce that Steven's Coffee Booth will soon be opening its shutters in Mottram Community Centre's garden!

This takeaway coffee shack will be providing hot & cold drinks for our local early risers, the school-run regulars, the freshly-trimmed (cheers, Matu), and anyone who reckons the community centre deserves a proper coffee to go with it.

They're still creating their menu, so comment below with what you'd like to see make their list ☕

Things are getting frightfully busy at Mottram Community Centre 🎥

We’re thrilled to be hosting a brand new British horror film this week. Our building has seen a lot over the years… but this might be its most chilling role yet!

Please give a warm Mottram welcome to Lauren Moore who has joined Mottram Community Association as our new Trustee!

Lauren brings with her 8 years of experience within the third sector and was previously a Trustee of the thriving Gamesley Community Centre.

Lauren grew up down the road in Broadbottom and now lives in Glossop with her young family. She is already making a difference for our Centre and we are excited to see the impact she makes!

A great day, with great people, for two great charities!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of spending the day with SMMS founder Jo Booth, who not only talked us through the (very confusing) world of social media, but also helped us to fundraise £445!! This is being split between The Bureau and Mottram Community Centre, where Jo also volunteers as a trustee.

It was great to bring together local businesses and work together on our social media strategies. Thank you so much Jo! This picture looks like you are telling us off - which to be fair, you probably were. Look, no emojis!
