They tried to silence Ian Solomon Kawall KMT Freedom Teacher‘No Meat No Blood No Bones’ at a sustainability event…
for being “too scary”
Meanwhile, we praise horror for Halloween 🎃
…but get uncomfortable when art reflects real-world truths.
Food systems + climate.
Voices + power.
Art + resistance.
From Nina Simone to Fela Kuti to Kendrick — artists have always been banned when the message hits too close to home.
So tell me — is it really the music that’s scary?
Or the mirror it holds up?
Check out my tune ‘No Meat No Blood No Bones’ on my bandcamp and tell me, do you think it should be banned?

May Project Gardens: Garden Tour – Friday 17th October, 14:00–16:00 https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1734893195249?aff=oddtdtcreator
Join us for a powerful afternoon exploring 18 years of grassroots environmental innovation at My Project Gardens. This guided tour will take you through our thriving urban garden spaces — from ponds teeming with biodiversity to forest gardens offering fresh food and resilience, and cob ovens built by hand to tackle fuel poverty.
Discover how we’re turning local, community-led action into practical solutions for global challenges like climate change, food insecurity, and the cost of living crisis. Each stop on the tour — including our polytunnel, herb spiral, and more — offers insight into how self-sufficiency, sustainability, and collective care can transform both land and lives.
Whether you’re a student exploring Natural History, a youth group seeking inspiration, a family looking to connect with nature, or part of an organisation learning about food systems and resilience, this space is for you.
Expect hands-on learning, real-life examples, and conversations that connect ecology with equity. From tackling climate extremes to reconnecting with plants for health, you’ll experience the power of regenerative design and community collaboration in action.
Who is it for?
Everyone! Schools, colleges, community groups, corporates, families, and individuals are all welcome. No experience needed — just curiosity and an open mind.
What you’ll gain:
Practical knowledge for growing food and building resilience
Ideas for teaching, organising, and community building
A renewed sense of what’s possible when people work with nature
Come curious. Leave inspired. Let’s grow change, together.
