We give thanks for the huge response from churches and individuals during Disability Awareness Week last week (20-27 Sept 2026)

Over 600 churches registered for this year’s resource to celebrate Disability Awareness Sunday (DAS on 27 Sept) and we saw an amazing number of services, celebrations and messages on social media related to church disability inclusion. Praise God!

Thank you to everyone who helped to celebrate DAS - and to all those who still plan to celebrate on a different date: as any Sunday can be Disability Awareness Sunday!

Our 4th Disability Awareness Week clip is from Andrea who has chronic illnesses. We hear how God prompted and enabled her to support her community powerfully in prayer.

Commission is the important final step on the ABC journey of Disability Inclusion. We can all serve God and spread the Gospel, whatever our (dis)abilities might be.

· Help us recognise that each of us is a 'human being' not a 'human doing', and that God is not focused on productivity. God values our contributions, whatever their size, and multiplies them.

· So may we support everyone to serve in their own way, doing the things God has put on their heart to do (just like Andrea in the clip).
