We’re shortly saying ‘Au Revoir’ to Tim, our CEO, as he’s taking a sabbatical till September. But, it’s ok, we’ve got his wisdom & insights on video!

Check out Tim Wood’s podcast on Ivy Church leader Anthony Delaney’s LAUNCH podcast
https://youtu.be/FDgjL_hduaw

Tim shares about many topics including Joni Earekson Tada, who he plans to visit on his sabbatical trip - who seed-funded us at TTR; plus our new video resource Room At the Table, out later this year (we hope!); as well as how your church can take the next step on the journey of disability inclusion.

Bon voyage Tim! Prayers for God to richly bless you in this time of reflection. 🙏

Volunteers make such an amazing difference! So this Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating people like you, who give their time to serve God and serve others.

Hear about Appoffie from Rwanda, a grandmother whose life was transformed by the gift of a wheelchair, fitted by one of our expert volunteer therapists, Jill.

We'd love you to consider volunteering for a mission trip. This September (1st-12th), we're returning to Rwanda for a Wheels for the World distribution of mobility aids. There are roles still vacant, so your giftings could make all the difference!

Please contact [email protected] for a chat about going to Rwanda or on future missions in 2027. Thank you for your heart to serve!

Last day of our Wheels for the World Ghana 2026 wheelchair distribution!

We fitted the last few chairs.
As often happens, God brings along just the right person for the chairs that were left! See a young man called Sulieman fitted with a sports wheelchair. And a young woman whose old wheelchair was falling apart and the last chair was made to fit her perfectly!

Thank you God for blessing this mission. Prayers for those who have received mobility aids, and for the team of volunteers as they return home.

Thank you for watching our mission updates!

Stories of lives transformed…
from our Wheels for the World team in Accra, Ghana, bringing freedom with wheelchairs.

Our mission week is drawing to a close, as our amazing team of trained volunteers distribute the last few wheelchairs and mobility aids for disabled people who need them.

In this clip, we meet Steven, an 8-year-old boy who has never been to school as he could not get there without a wheelchair. Now he has not only a wheelchair but a chance to learn skills and knowledge, to complete the work God put him on the earth 🌍 to do.

Thanks be to God for guiding and strengthening the team this week. May He uphold them as they finish the mission.

“your eyes saw my body even before it was formed. You planned how many days I would live. You wrote down the number of them in your book before I had lived through even one of them.”
(Psalm 139:16 NIRV)
