Rotary Monmouth

Rotary Monmouth An active community group supporting the community in Monmouth and further afield. Rotary International is a global network of service volunteers.

It is the world's largest service organisation for business and professional people, with some 1,210,905 members operating in 168 countries world-wide. There are some 55,000 Rotarians in Great Britain and Ireland in 1,800 clubs, helping those in need and working towards world understanding and peace. Its a fulfilling role, and Rotarians can get involved as much or as little as their time will allo

w. But there is much more. Clubs meet on a regular basis, which allows members to build firm friendships. Every Rotarian has a right to attend any Club meeting anywhere in the world, so there is always somewhere to go, and people to meet, wherever business or leisure travel may take you.

We thank everyone for their generosity in supporting Ukraine on June 6th with a magnificent £1235 raised. Gift Aid will increase this by £300. The second ambulance purchased is pictured below. We are getting close to being able to purchase a fourth vehicle to help. The other three will be on their way to Ukraine later this month loaded with much needed medical supplies and equipment.

Thanks to the incredible support shown through the fundraising campaign, a second ambulance has now also been funded for Ukraine. 🇺🇦

This short video message was recorded by Will Jackson following the purchase of the first ambulance, which will be used in frontline areas helping evacuate wounded civilians and soldiers.
