❗️Milton Keynes Comedy Festival update❗️

We regret to announce that Jo Caulfield is no longer able to join us at the Milton Keynes Comedy Festival on 12th July.

Whilst we are obviously disappointed, we are delighted to announce that we have been able to secure Laura Smyth as a replacement act.

In 2019 Laura won the Funny Women Awards having only been doing comedy for 5 months. Since then, she has continued to take the comedy scene by storm; a favourite on the live circuit Laura has supported Jack Whitehall and Michelle de Swarte on tour and played the Comedy Arena at Latitude, Reading and Leeds Festivals.

As an act who is always highly in demand, we are extremely pleased to be able to welcome Laura to the festival!

So, we set ourselves a challenge: where can you buy Birkenstocks in Milton Keynes City Centre?

We headed into Central Milton Keynes to see where we could get our hands on a pair of Birkenstocks, stopping by John Lewis, Office at centre:mk and Schuh at Midsummer Place.

After trying them on for ourselves, we can confirm the comfort level is a solid 10/10 🙌

What an amazing surprise awaited us at the press night of The Karate Kid: The Musical at Milton Keynes Theatre!

Not only does this production brilliantly capture the spirit of the original film, but it also proves why that generation will absolutely love seeing it reimagined on stage. Better still, it introduces the story to a whole new audience who discovered the world of karate through the hugely popular Cobra Kai series.

This isn't simply a musical for martial arts enthusiasts. It's a musical for everyone.

I went into this musical with reservations and, quite frankly, judged it unfairly before seeing it. What I experienced was something completely different: a heartfelt, uplifting and thoroughly entertaining production that appeals to far more than just fans of the original film.

Puddleford Podcast at 1:30pm - An entirely new and improvised episodic audio drama comedy featuring escapades from the (rather unusual) inhabitants of the fictional English town of Puddleford.

Pitch Slapped at 4:30pm - MKTOC present a selection of hilarious comedy songs in an energetic and entertaining musical showcase - A celebration of comedy through music!

Whose Turn? at 7:30pm - Inspired by performances on such classic TV shows as 'Whose line is it anyway?' and 'Fast and loose' and with the added bonus that no-one has to spend time learning lines, join MKTOC for an evening of comedy where the only rule is that there are no rules!
