Mayor's Christmas Card Competition 2026

If you haven’t already heard about this year’s Christmas Card competition there is still time to enter (deadline is 15 November)! I am running a Christmas card design competition to find the perfect design to send electronically to colleagues and associates this Christmas. I am looking for the most festive design so don’t hold back!

The competition is open to children attending mainstream schools up to Year 6 and pupils attending Special Schools up to Year 14 plus home educated children in these year groups.

It would be incredible to see inclusion of my chosen charity MK Foodbank in the design in support of them, however, this is not essential. We only ask that glitter and shiny materials are not used in the design because this would affect the quality of the scanned submission and final electronic design.

*NEW for 2026*

The winner will have their design printed and sold at the Mayor’s Christmas Carol Concert which takes place mid-December. All funds raised will go to the Mayor’s chosen charity MK Foodbank.

For more information and competition guidelines visit - https://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/your-council-and-elections/mayor/competitions-and-awards.
