Best Start – how can we support families with early identification and home learning opportunities?

We would like to invite you to attend a session at Saplings Family Centre to share information about the Best Start Programme, with a focus on SEND and home learning. We would like to hear directly from parents and carers about your experiences and priorities.

Date: Monday 23 February 2026
Time: 10:00–11:00am
Saplings Family Centre, Knowles Nursery School, Queensway, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK2 2HB

During the session, we would like to get your views on:
• Early identification for children who may need additional help; what were your experiences and what can we do better?
• What SEND support families find most valuable and what could be improved
• What support for home learning environment (HLE) activities would families find most valuable? (e.g. reading, playing, speech and language development, setting routines).
• Any further ideas or feedback you would like to share Your insight is essential in helping us shape services that best meet the needs of children and families across our community.
