For many mums, Mummy’s Day Out has been a place to meet other women who understand, build friendships, get out of the house, laugh, talk, share experiences and find a sense of belonging.

We’re sharing the real stories of mums in our community — because sometimes the thing that
makes a difference is simply knowing you’re not alone.

As one mum shared, she walked into her local library and a group of mums simply noticed her and said hello.That hello turned into friendships, community and a village.

That’s why we do what we do. 🧡

If you’re looking for your tribe, join us at one of our events. If you know a mum who needs a village, send her our way.

Looking after yourself as a mum remains at the top of what we will always support. We're proud to be partnering with Well Newham to help make Healthy Start vitamins more accessible to our Newham families 🤎
Our MDO team and project facilitators will distribute the free vitamins at all Newham meet-ups, making it easier for eligible women and families with young children to access this support through our trusted community organisation.

Today marked the start of Black Maternal Mental Health Week.

A week that gives us an opportunity to talk about Black mothers, our experiences, and the importance of looking after our mental well-being.

At Mummy’s Day Out, we believe connection matters.

Getting out, meeting other mums, having a chat, going for a walk, trying something new, and simply having a space where you can be yourself — these things matter too.

But we also want to remind you that it’s okay to ask for help. 🥰

Community and professional support can sit alongside each other.

So this week, let’s check in with ourselves, check in with another mum, and remember:

You don’t have to do motherhood alone. 🧡
