What a fun and fantastic week we have had. We have been celebrating Halloween with lots of sensory fun, we explored pumpkins and made pumpkin soup for snack. We dressed up for a fun morning of Halloween stories, dancing and craft activities. We also talked about Autumn and the falling leaves, we rolled conkers through paint and decorated an Autumn tree. Have a lovely half term break and see you all on 3rd of November for our new half term 🤗😍

We continue with our all about me theme looking at our emotions, what makes us happy or sad what we can do to feel better. We have explored sensory play, drawing, music and movement and so much more. Next week we are looking at Autumn so we finished this week with an Autumn walk collecting conkers, leaves and twigs. Enjoy the weekend 🤗

Our theme this week was looking at people who help us with a focus on emergency services. We enjoyed lots of imaginative play pretending to be fire fighters and police officers. We joined in with lots of fun messy play and art and enjoyed outside play. Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week for another fun filled week of learning 🤗

Small wonders preschool is looking for a new manager and supervisor. Our fantastic manager of almost 25 years is retiring at the end of this school year, giving a wonderful opportunity for the right person to join our lovely team.

This week we enjoyed some tennis in the garden and had our own penalty shoot out, we made medals and practiced for our sports day events. Thank you to all parents who attended our fun morning today, we hope you enjoyed the sports events and graduation. We said a sad goodbye to our leavers but we know that they are ready for the next stage and it's been a pleasure to support them through their preschool years. They all looked amazing in their graduation gowns 😍 have a lovely summer and we look forward to seeing lots of you in September 😘

Great pirate week, lots of fun learning activities enjoyed by children and staff. It was lovely to meet Kiki, a baby parrot who joined us with her local owner who shared lots of interesting parrot facts. We finished the week with graduation photos and leavers party. We cooled down with ice lollies and water play in our shaded garden. We are looking forward to our sports theme next week in preparation for our sports day on Friday. Have a fun weekend 😘 🌅
