We’re delighted to announce that Parker Hannifin- Milton Keynes has chosen Ride High as its Charity of the Year for 2026/27.

Following a visit to Ride High earlier this year, where the team learnt more about our work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children, we were pleased to recently make a reciprocal visit to Parker and meet more of the people behind the business.

We’re@incredibly grateful that Parker have chosen to support Ride High and we can’t wait to work together over the coming year.

Earlier this week a group of Ride High members enjoyed another fantastic visit to Blum UK – and what an incredible day it was!

From learning about the history of Blum and what they do, to taking an exhilarating ride on the warehouse crane, there was something to capture everyone’s imagination. The children also learned about sustainability, explored the fascinating world of bees (while suited up as beekeepers!) and even had the opportunity to hold honeycomb frames buzzing with busy bees.

After a delicious lunch, kindly provided by the Blum team, everyone headed home with a goody bag and plenty of stories to share.

The conversations on the journey back to Ride High said it all – from crane engineering and bee social structures to the surprising number of parts in a hinge! Back at Ride High, the excitement continued as the children shared their experiences with staff and parents.

We’re incredibly grateful to the whole Blum team for giving our members such a warm welcome and creating a day that inspired curiosity, built confidence and gave the children memories they’ll be talking about for a long time to come.

Getting creative and staying cool! 🎨
Last week, some of our Ride High members enjoyed an arts and crafts morning in the clubroom, spending time chatting, creating and having fun together away from the summer heat.
The long summer break can be challenging for many of the children we support, which is why we’re running a programme of activities throughout the holidays to help them stay connected, build friendships and enjoy positive experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

What a fantastic evening at the MKFM Meet of MK at The Italian Sul Lago last night! 💙

Our team of staff and volunteers enjoyed catching up with familiar faces and making new connections with businesses from across Milton Keynes.

A huge thank you to Jo, Carly, Eden and Fi at MKFM for organising another brilliant networking event, and for choosing Ride High as the charity beneficiary of the raffle. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, an amazing £650+ was raised to help us continue changing the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children through the unique connection they build with horses 🐴 .

🥐 What a fantastic morning! 💙

A huge thank you to Erica, Lauren and the team at Brioche Pasquier UK | Baking Inspiration for welcoming a group of our members to their Milton Keynes factory today.

The morning began with an engaging talk about the history of Brioche Pasquier, how the company has grown over the years, the wide range of products they make and the many different careers and roles that keep the business running.

The children then got dressed in hairnets, factory coats, high-vis jackets and shoe covers before enjoying a fascinating behind-the-scenes tour of the factory. From seeing ingredients arrive and be stored, to watching the brioche being mixed, shaped, baked, packaged and boxed, it was incredible to see the whole production process from start to finish.

After the tour, the fun continued with a brilliant Kahoot quiz, where our young people scored an impressive 10 out of 10! 🎉 They were presented with certificates, treated to some delicious goodies and even got to sample Brioche Pasquier’s new Blueberry Filled Brioche 🫐.

Experiences like this give our children the opportunity to make new discoveries, learn about the wide variety of careers available and enjoy memorable experiences during the summer holidays.

It was lovely to welcome members of the Inner Wheel Club of Newport Pagnell to Ride High last week.

After attending some of the group's meetings more recently, it was wonderful to welcome some of the ladies to the Ride High and show them the difference their amazing support is making.

Seeing our home, meeting the team and the horses first-hand really brought our work to life.
