We provide a forum for the discussion of humanist values and principles and campaign for respect for those who seek to live ethical and responsible lives without religious or superstitious beliefs. We also aim to raise awareness of humanist perspectives. And if you were wondering ... a Humanist is a person who has a strong interest in or concern for human welfare and values and for promoting human

dignity. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can participate in open dialogue from a humanist perspective on social media platforms. Though we do not agree with or endorse every comment or post made by an individual on our pages, we encourage respectful discussion. As part of our commitment to providing a safe and hospitable environment, we prohibit intimidating, harassing, or threatening conduct. Posts may also be removed if they contain hate speech, excessive profanity, advertisements for a page or product, spam, irrelevant content, or infringement of copyrights and trade marks, as well as any comment which is posted repeatedly.

The Isle of Man’s Assisted Dying Bill has been sent for Royal Assent for a second time.

After a year of delay, Tynwald has worked constructively with the UK Government to include the additional measures it requested. There is now no further need for delay, and Royal Assent should be granted swiftly. Terminally ill people do not have time on their side. The Bill was passed democratically, commands strong public support, and should be enacted as soon as safely possible.’
