💚 Can you help us share your story?

TVRA is supporting Action with Communities in Rural England - ACRE’s campaign to highlight the rising cost of heating oil and LPG, and the impact this is having on rural households as we head into winter.

We’d love to hear from people across the Tees Valley who use these fuels and would be willing to share their experiences to help raise awareness and make sure rural voices are heard.

If you or someone you know might be happy to share your story, we’d love to hear from you. Please drop us a private message or comment where and we will get in touch. 💚

It’s CTWeek26! This week, we’re joining the Community Transport Association and communities across the UK to celebrate the difference Community Transport makes.

This year’s theme is Driving Communities Forward, recognising the drivers, volunteers, staff and organisations who help people stay connected, independent and involved in their communities.

Community Transport supports access to healthcare, education, work, volunteering, shopping, social activities and essential local services.

🌟 Meet the Transport Members: Redcar WI 🌸

This week we're shining a spotlight on Redcar WI, a friendly and active group that brings people together through friendship, learning, and shared experiences within the local community.

🚌 Last week, members enjoyed a trip to Hartlepool, travelling with the support of one of our volunteer drivers. During the visit, the group explored the Royal Navy Museum, learning about the area's rich maritime history and enjoying a fascinating day out together. ⚓✨

👏 A special thank you to our volunteer driver for helping make the trip possible. Our volunteer drivers play a vital role in supporting local groups to access activities, attractions, and opportunities across the region. 💚

🌟 Meet the Transport Members: Elm Tree & Fairfield WI 🌸

This week we're shining a spotlight on Elm Tree & Fairfield WI, one of the latest branches of the Teesside Federation of Women's Institutes to join our Community Transport Scheme. We're delighted to welcome them and support them with their group activities and outings. 💚

🚌 Last week, members enjoyed their first trip with us, taking two of our minibuses to Wallington Hall and Heighley Gate Garden Centre. From exploring the beautiful historic estate and gardens to browsing the garden centre, it was a fantastic day out and a great opportunity for members to spend time together. 🌳🌺

💚 We hope everyone had a wonderful trip, and we look forward to supporting Elm Tree & Fairfield WI on many more adventures in the future!
