Wayne Dobson, CEO of Feeding Families, visited Doorways Middlesbrough New in Middlesbrough recently.

Wayne spent time with the Doorways team and listened to Florence’s story first-hand, seeing how partnership-led support makes a real difference to people experiencing crisis.💜

Today's meal was made by the lovely Dave Chatterjee it was an amazing Dahl,rice and potato chips followed by lots of greggs goodies for clients to take away.Plenty of clients have used our shower facility today too.A huge shout out to our volenteers today Dave,Debs,Claire and Marty Doorways Middlesbrough New one goes hungry ❤

I haven't been on here in awhile due to illness amongst other things but I'm so humbled by the lovely messages of support from the recent post of those whom were sleeping opposite the police station. I've had numerous arguments with keyboard warriors defending our clients on its a life choice blah blah blah to some uneducated,judgemental pricks.Unless you have been there and walked in their shoes you wouldn't understand at all🤬 We see the suffering everyday mentally and physically.Thank you to those who have offered your kindness to help those in need we all appreciate you ❤ If you come across anyone who's in need drop us a message

Happy 30th birthday eve Jack Harris Your mum has done you proud and tomorrow at Doorways Middlesbrough we celebrate you💙🌻Tomorrow is all about you because you were a kind gentle soul whom took time to care for others weither it was buying happy meals for those living on the streets and handing them out to those along the quayside or just listening to those who needed it we appriciate you ❤️

Our hearts are hurting from the loss of another one of our clients not just a client a friend and a part of the doorways family this has been 3 deaths in the space of a few months we won’t be posting names or anything out of respect for his family you will be missed dearly at doorways 😪 you always made us laugh with your stories and jokes and your cheeky self 💔
