Access Guide incoming! Feedback requested!

Do you attend any of our social events at DoES Liverpool?

We’re looking to have an access document produced, in collaboration with some brilliant local disabled community activists, for everyone who attends. We’re looking for feedback, advice, suggestions, comments, thoughts and input from anyone who uses the space and has access needs.

In the meantime, there is some access information on the DoES Liverpool website, and you can always discuss your needs with us.

Please let us know in the comments, via DM or by email at [email protected] what you’d like to tell us! Feedback on the socials in general is always welcome too, using the above channels.

Trans+ Social… but make it spooky! 🏳️‍⚧️ 🎃

Come and join us for a special Halloween edition of our popular Trans+ social on Tuesday 20th October 2026, from 6.30pm at DoES Liverpool

Expect free snacks, drinks and optional Halloween craft activities, optional fancy dress plus all the usual stuff too. Some optional, friendly and un-serious competitions with prizes too!

💛 Continuing each 3rd Tuesday in 2026, same time, same location (but only Halloween this month!) Why not add it to your calendar?

🤍 Totally free to attend - drinks and snacks are free. Vegan options available. Zero pressure environment - craft, chat, don’t chat, colour, listen, stim - it’s all allowed.

🖤 Binders, hygeine and period products, safer s*x products, packers and other gender affirming items available for free to take away or order.

💙Organised by the Community - all Trans, gender diverse and non-binary umbrella identities welcome.

Well behaved & leashed dogs welcome.

Trusted allies welcome who are accompanying a trans+ person, on the understanding this is a Trans+ centered space.

💜 18+

🖤 Fully wheelchair accessible venue, private comfortable room, gender neutral loos and a vetted Safe Space for Trans and Nonbinary people.

🩷Close to transport links and on street (paid) parking available. Cheapest parking is the council car park on Kempston Street.

If you have any questions, access needs, worries or anything else, please get in touch via DM. We have photos of the entrance if you need a run through beforehand.

Dominate Strength - Powerlifting Coaching Dominik Schmidt

I’m Dominik (he/him), a powerlifting/strength training coach based at Taylor's Strength Training In Liverpool city centre. I offer both private (one to one) and group coaching for a diverse range of people; everyone is welcome here and safe with me, including LGBTQIA+ people.

I will be hosting private events for all Safe space communities, such as friendly ‘lift-together’ meet-ups and casual competitions. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about the services I offer!

Feeling poorly?

Please don’t attend our events if you’ve got any symptoms of cold, flu, sickness bugs, Covid 19, norovirus or any other contagious illness spread through contact.

Thank you for keeping our community, organisers and volunteers safe and well.

You’ll always be welcomed back when you’re feeling better, and we can’t put on events if we’re taken out of action by germs.

Masks are allowed and encouraged, in addition to staying home if you’re poorly. We always have hand sanitizer available and we encourage you to wash your hands often too.

We want to create a joyful and inclusive community where people connect through song and find harmony in shared experiences. For us that means singing unexpected songs in our own way and letting people turn up as themselves.

Our weekly rehearsals are based in Love Lane Brewery. It’s an existing Safe Space-registered business, with the most supportive staff and q***r management. Together we welcome anyone who wants a safe space to sing. Proudly trans+ inclusive, we also actively accommodate neurodivergence and disabilities as standard. We’re run by volunteers who like to do things differently, from our song choices and learning options to how we run the community.

Our committee’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion lead ensures we’re always listening and adapting to create the safest, most welcoming space possible. This isn’t lip service, it’s at the heart of what we do. We believe that embracing what makes each of us different is what makes us truly sound together 💜”
