Thank you to everyone who attended the ‘Your Next Steps’ careers event for care experienced 18-21-year-olds. We welcomed 14 employers, training providers and support partners to Crawford House – all of whom shared important insights and opportunities with young people. 🤩 We’re really excited to be shortlisted twice in this year’s UK Career Development Awards 2026 🤩

For the second-year running, Career Connect is shortlisted as Careers Provider of the Year. 🏆

Manchester Pathways – which we deliver with Manchester City Council - is shortlisted for the Careers Programme - Non-Education Settings Award. The programme provides innovative, hyperlocal support help local 16-18-year-olds access local education, employment and training opportunities.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the awards ceremony on 2nd December 🤞. Congratulations and good luck to everyone shortlisted in this year’s awards. 🍀🍀🍀

It was great to have Mike Kane MP visit us to find out more about the work we do and our Manchester Pathways programme - in partnership with Manchester City Council - which provides innovative, hyperlocal support to increase access to education, employment and training for local 16-18-year-olds.

We are also delighted to announce that Manchester Pathways has been shortlisted for a UK Career Development Award!

'Your Next Steps' is an opportunity to meet employers, training providers and support partners. Taking place at Crawford House, Upper Warwick Street, Liverpool, L8 8DN from 1-3pm on Friday 18th September 2026. A quiet half hour runs from 12.30pm-1pm.
