Two of our committee members, Mike and Pat will soon be taking on an abseil to help raise money for our friend, who needs an assistance dog to support them with autism.

💛🍺 **A Huge Thank You to The Royal Oak, Mellor!** 💛

A heartfelt thank you to The Royal Oak, one of the **longest-standing supporters** of the Mellor March.

Year after year, they open their doors bright and early to welcome our walkers, serving as one of our registration points and providing a friendly, familiar place for participants to gather before setting off. Then, after miles of walking, they're there once again with a warm welcome, great food, refreshments, and a brilliant community atmosphere.

This year, they've also generously donated **£200** towards our local cancer charities, and we're incredibly grateful for their continued support. 👏💛

The Mellor March simply wouldn't be the same without the wonderful businesses that stand beside us year after year, and The Royal Oak has been doing just that for so long.

Thank you for your generosity, your hospitality, and for being such an important part of the Mellor March family. Here's to many more years of walking together! 💛

A heartfelt thank you to The Hare & Hounds for their generous donation of **£250** in support of this year’s Mellor March. 👏

As one of our registration points and a welcoming stop on the route, The Hare & Hounds plays an important part in making the day such a success. Whether walkers are setting off on their journey or stopping by to enjoy the friendly atmosphere, they’re always met with a warm welcome.

It’s the support of fantastic local businesses like The Hare & Hounds that helps the Mellor March continue to make a real difference for cancer charities in our community.

🍔💛 **A Huge Thank You to The Little Mill, Rowarth!** 💛🍻

For many years, The Little Mill has been a much-loved part of the Mellor March, providing walkers with the perfect halfway stop to rest, refuel and enjoy the fantastic community atmosphere.

This tradition has continued under the new management, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their incredible support.

Not only have they provided a warm welcome, delicious food and a wonderful family-friendly space for our walkers, but this year they have also made an **outstanding donation of £1,500** to support our local cancer charities. 👏💛

Your generosity, community spirit and commitment to the Mellor March help make this event what it is. Thank you for creating a place where friends and families can come together, recharge, and enjoy a well-earned break before continuing their journey.

Last year, Dark Peak Vineyard opened its gates to Mellor March walkers for the very first time—and it has quickly become a firm favourite on the route.

From the beautiful setting to the warm welcome, it’s clear just how much love, care and hard work has gone into creating such a special stop for our community. It perfectly captures what the Mellor March is all about: **bringing people together, supporting one another, and enjoying a fantastic day out for an incredible cause.**

Not only have you created such a memorable experience for our walkers, but you’ve also generously donated an amazing **£425** towards our local cancer charities. 👏💛

A Huge Thank You! - PIMMS truck raised just over £1k!!

Every year, there are people who go above and beyond to make the Mellor March so special—and **Mike Tittershill, Chris Gill and their amazing team** are certainly among them.

Their much-loved **Pimm’s stop** has become a true Mellor March tradition, giving walkers the perfect place to pause, refresh, and enjoy the incredible community spirit along the route. 🍓🍹

This year, thanks to their generosity and everyone who stopped by to support them, they raised an incredible **£1,042** for our local cancer charities! 👏🎉

Your continued support, enthusiasm, and commitment to our community makes a real difference, and we’re so grateful to have you as part of the Mellor March family.
