Seven Springs is a registered charity, providing accommodation and camping facilities for youth groups with a documented child protection policy.

The day to day management of the site is undertaken by Girlguiding Manchester.

Volunteers' week is the perfect time to say THANK YOU to all our dedicated volunteers who work so hard to ensure that the site keeps running and looking so good! So whether you're a trustee, part of the maintenance team, fundraising team, shop team, a warden or anything else we really do appreciate everything that you do!

Brownies, Guides and Rangers from 9th Ashton have really got behind our Build it better campaign by holding a fundraiser at their unit and they raised a whopping £200!
The money raised will go towards the refurbishment of the Venture House.
And everyone who took part will receive a free Building it Better badge, so everyone's a winner!

As part of our commitment to refrubishing the Venture House we'll be arranging a number of fundraising activities. This time we're giving away free badges!

Hold any fundraising event of your choice, at a time of your choosing, then send the money raised (preferably with some photos) and you will receive a free badge for everyone who took part to help build the Venture House better Let us know what you did and send any photos (with photo permissions) to [email protected] and we will send you details of how to transfer the money you've raised. Once we receive your money we will send you your badges.

Today we are welcoming members from Girlguiding Manchester to our rainbows bee day. They're doing lots of bee related activities as well as meeting Agnes Bee-den Powell.

There is a saying that Rainbows appear when loved ones are near and today we saw this beautiful rainbow at the campsite as people came together to plant trees in memory of loved ones and to commemorate many happy times spent at the site.

Thanks to everyone who came and who bought trees to raise funds for the site.

We also saw Girlguiding Manchester's Agnes Bee-den Powell move to a new position on the site and the launch of a new badge to mark the occasion too!

Join us for an evening of creativity and fun to help raise funds for Seven Springs!

We're holding a "Paint and sip" evening where you'll decorate a glass vase to take away.

Date: 6 June 2026
Time: 7 PM to 9 PM
Cost: £20
Location: 306th Scout Hut, East Didsbury, South Manchester, M20 5PS

All materials are provided!

Refreshments and nibbles will be provided, with the option to bring your own beverages.

This is an 18+ event!
