It was a great honour to host the National President Round Table Great Britain & Ireland in my role as National Chairman of Scotland, alongside Carrick Round Table , Troon Round Table , and Newton Stewart & District Round Table — and where better to do it than the beautiful Trump Turnberry.

Turnberry truly pulled out all the stops for us, including private access to their state-of-the-art golf simulator, which quickly became a fiercely competitive games session, followed by an outstanding dinner in the clubhouse with some of the best views in Scotland.

During the evening, we also had the pleasure of inducting two new members into Carrick Round Table Daryl and Aiden Strachan. Congratulations guys.

After dinner, we were treated to a tour of the main hotel before making full use of the games room for a night of chats, games, and drinks.

A huge thank you to trump Turnberry and Elio Abruzzo for making it such an unforgettable evening, and thank you to all the Tablers who attended.

Hope you enjoyed it, Sheraz Shahid… just don’t expect this every time you visit Scotland! 🤣🤣

Thursday night we had a wee catch up with Cumnock and District Round Table. For some food at the homestead smokehouse followed with a little pub quiz Carrick Round Table v Cumnock at smiths bar in ayr. Not going to say who won but the score board speaks for itself 🤣🤣😂😂 some accusations of cheating had been suggested but again I'm staying out of that 🤣🤣. Great wee night. Thanks for the invite guys.

Tonight has to be one of the best nights I've had. Mostly because I was just watching the rest dance as my backs done in but even the boys said it was a great night. We only had the 4 of us as most the guys couldn't make it but I think they definitely missed out on this one. Line dancing at Anne's heel kickers The Carrick Centre. If you haven’t been you need to give it a try. Thank you to all the woman for helping and being very very patient. We then followed it with a burger to recover Nae Forks Given. The boy's deserved it the amount they sweated 🤣🤣🤣

Down supporting the young lads doing the down till dusk game.
The team are powering through, and all for a good cause My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The boys are still taken donations too. Carrick Rugby have been on the grass since 5am. We wish them all the best making it till 9pm tonight.
I'll be in my bed by then 🤣
