🎉 What a fantastic quiz night! Thank you! 🧠👏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Friday’s VCS & Tovil Repair Café Quiz Night!
It was brilliant to see so many people coming together, enjoying a fun evening and supporting two great local causes.

💚 Thanks to your generosity, we raised almost £400! This will be shared between Valley Conservation Society and Tovil Repair Café, helping both organisations continue their work in our community.

🌼 What a blooming good year! 🐝

2026 has been a great year for wildflowers at Crisbrook Meadow!
🌱 Two new beds sown in March with annual and perennial wildflowers have grown and flowered brilliantly in their first year. The display may be less colourful next year as the perennials take more time to establish.

🌸 The bed on top of the wall and the one in front of it have also put on a wonderful show, with teasels proving a particular success!

🍂 Now we're cutting back the spent flower heads and letting the seeds fall, ready for next year's growth. We'll also thin out some of the teasels to give other wildflowers more room to flourish.

Every flower counts! These areas are helping to boost biodiversity, providing valuable food and shelter for pollinators, birds and other small wildlife.

A big thank you to everyone helping to make Crisbrook Meadow a haven for nature! 💚

🍂 Thank you for joining our VCS Autumn Walk! 🌿

It was lovely to welcome over 25 walkers and their dogs on Saturday for an informative stroll through Crisbrook Meadow and the beautiful Loose Valley countryside.

A special thank you to the local residents who generously shared fascinating stories about their historic properties and the valley’s industrial heritage. We hope everyone enjoyed the walk!
