It's Time To Reveal Our Next Event...

Everyone is welcome to our afternoon of "Floral Travels" on MONDAY 30TH NOVEMBER 2026 which is being held in The Community Centre, St Thomas's Church Hall, St Thomas's Road, St Annes On Sea, FY1 8JL at 2pm.

Our event is being hosted by Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and Scenic and Emerald Cruises and Tours.

Join us for an afternoon of presentations by these wonderful operators as well as stunning floral demonstrations by Glenys Markland which have been inspired by some of the beautiful demonstrations that our operators can take you to.

There will of course be "show offers" available.

Refreshments (coffee/tea and cakes) will be available and our mega raffle will include the flower arrangements done by Glenys as well as lots of other prizes. Monies raised will be for Home-Start Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre who support families with young children because we all know that childhood can't wait.

We hope you will join us for our event and help us to raise some much needed funds for this charity as well as finding inspiration for your next adventure.

📣 We’re at the Older People’s Fair today! 💙

Our coordinator Stella is there today! Pop over and have a chat with her to find out more about our services and the volunteer roles available. We’d love to see you! 😊

Tomorrow is my Older Person’s Fair!

This Friday, 23rd October, the Pavilion & Horseshoe at the Winter Gardens will be full of fun, friendly faces and people who can help.

If you need support, it’ll be there, but this is about so much more than services and information. It’s a day out and a chance to meet people and find something new to enjoy.

Here’s just some of the organisations attending:

🫂 Healthwatch, The Salvation Army, Blackpool Carers Centre, Clevr Money and N-Vision will all be there offering advice and support.

🌺 The Royal British Legion is looking for new members to help re-establish its Blackpool branch while our Armed Force’s Champion, Cllr Adrian Hoyle, will be there to support former members of the Armed Forces looking for advice or support.

🩰 The Hub at South Shore, open-water swimming community Blackpool Bluetits, Silver Swans Ballet and Blackpool and Wyre Crown Green Bowling Academy and Wandering Women walking group are just some of the groups ready to help you discover a new hobby and putting on activities.

🤝 My team and I will be there to greet you, support you and signpost you to organisations that may be of interest.
