We're incredibly proud that our Carers Hub Rochdale team was recognised in Parliament during the Westminster Hall debate on Support for Unpaid Carers.

During the debate, Elsie Blundell - MP for Heywood & Middleton North highlighted the Hub's wide range of support for unpaid carers and paid tribute to the staff, volunteers and carers she met during Carers Week.

She described the team as:

"They just really are a lovely group of people."

We'd like to thank everyone who helps make the Hub such a welcoming and supportive community, especially the carers who continue to inspire us every day.

World Mental Health Day reminds us that mental health affects every part of our lives - our relationships, confidence, work, and our ability to cope with everyday challenges.

This year's theme, 'Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change,' highlights the importance of listening to people, valuing their experiences, and ensuring they have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. At N-Compass, we see every day how caring responsibilities, difficult life circumstances, and feeling unheard can affect wellbeing. We also recognise that mental health affects all of us, including the colleagues who support others through some of life's most challenging situations.

As part of our ongoing leadership development programme with Dom Keohane and HAPI, we've identified a group of Cultural Activators from within our Leadership Team.

These are colleagues who have been recognised by their peers as people who bring our culture to life every day. They connect people, encourage others, live our values, and help create the kind of environment where individuals and teams can do their best work.

Culture isn't something that sits in a document. It's shaped by the conversations we have, the support we give, the decisions we make, and the example we set.
