One thing we've learned through our floristry sessions is that none of us are as alone as we think we are 🥰

Over the last few weeks we've received messages from women talking about anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, loneliness, menopause and all the other things life throws at us.

As our focus is wellbeing, we don't provide mental health support but we absolutely can point people towards support if and when they need it.

We came across these free courses from Blackpool Talking Therapies and thought they might be useful to share with our community.

If it's not for you, it might be for someone you know. 💛

Take a look below.

Feel free to leave your personal recommendations and positive experiences below, it might help someone 🥰

I honestly couldn't be prouder of these ladies 💛

What started as a group of strangers coming together to make flowers became friendships, laughter, confidence, support and a little community of women who genuinely care about one another.

For our final session, they took the kindness they'd found in the group and passed it on to complete strangers through bouquets, smiles and conversations that meant more than they'll ever know.

I'll miss our Wednesdays very much, but what a beautiful way to finish.

A huge thank you to our community partners who helped make our final kindness session possible. To Wandering Women for bringing together such an incredible group of women, to Sainsbury's Blackpool and Asda Cherry Tree Road for welcoming us into your stores and allowing us to spread a little unexpected joy amongst your shoppers 💐

A special thank you also to the COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR LANCASHIRE (FORMER) Women's Fund, whose support made the entire project possible. Because of this funding, women were able to access creative wellbeing sessions, build friendships, grow in confidence and take part in today's kindness campaign.

Proof that when communities come together, wonderful things happen ✨

A huge thank you to Sainsbury's Blackpool for welcoming us into store today and allowing our daytime group to spread a little kindness 💐💛

Armed with bouquets, smiles and a few happy tears, our wonderful ladies spent the afternoon surprising shoppers with flowers and messages of encouragement.

It was lovely to see so many smiles, hear so many stories and be reminded just how much a small act of kindness can brighten someone's day 🌸

A special thank you to the Sainsbury's team for supporting our community project and helping us create such a memorable experience.

More photos to come... 📸✨

Last night we had the pleasure of attending Dr Louise Newson's Breaking the Cycle seminar in Lancaster.

As a community organisation supporting women's wellbeing, we found the evening both interesting and thought-provoking. The discussion explored women's hormone health, menopause, mental wellbeing and the importance of listening to women's experiences throughout different stages of life.

What resonated most was the reminder that women's health is about so much more than symptoms. It's about feeling heard, understanding our bodies, having access to information and being able to make informed choices about our own wellbeing.

Whether you're navigating periods, perimenopause, menopause, caring responsibilities, stress, or simply the many demands of modern life, it's clear that women's health deserves more open conversation and greater understanding.

Thank you to Dr Louise Newson for an engaging evening and for continuing to encourage discussion around an important topic.

Have you noticed changes in your health, wellbeing or energy levels through different stages of life? We'd love to hear your experiences in the comments. 💜🌿

Before ➡️ after in a single day! 🧹🌿

This garden had become completely overgrown and the pathway to the garage was no longer accessible.

Adam went in this morning armed with tools, determination and what can only be described as “dad-level stubbornness” 😅 and transformed the whole space in just one day!!

Now there’s clear access again, usable space, safer pathways and a garden that can actually breathe.

Some people think floristry is “just playing with flowers”… but it’s never really been about the flowers 🌿

Over the last few weeks we’ve watched women walk into the room nervous and leave laughing. We’ve watched strangers become friends. We’ve watched confidence quietly grow week by week.

For some, this has become the highlight of their week. A space to breathe. To create. To feel welcomed. To fill their cup a little. 💐

What started as an 8 week funded wellbeing project has become something much bigger than we imagined, and these comments honestly mean the world to us.

Thank you to every woman who has trusted us enough to walk through the door, sit at the table and be part of this beautiful little community we’re building together 🥹🌸

Thank you to the Women’s Fund through the Community Foundation for Lancashire for making this possible 💚 and to Wandering women for collaborating with us on this project

🌿 Nature-based wellbeing for all residents 🌿

We’re so excited to be getting our well-being programme out into the world.

Our programme isn’t just about activities, it’s about meaningful, calm, inclusive connection with nature that works for every resident.

Whether someone is:
• Fully mobile
• Living with dementia
• Frail
• Wheelchair user
• Bed or chair bound

They all deserve access to wellbeing, purpose and gentle engagement.

At Nurturefy we bring the outside in: 🍃 Seasonal leaves, flowers and natural textures
🌱 Simple planting and nurturing
🌼 Soft sensory experiences
💬 Calm conversation and quiet presence

And we back it all up with beautiful, inspection-ready documentation that supports: ✔ CQC evidence
✔ Person-centred care
✔ Inclusion
✔ Safe and Well-Led practice
✔ Meaningful occupation

This is nature-based wellbeing that fits real care homes, real staff teams and real residents.

If you’re a Registered Manager or Activity Lead and you’re looking for:
• Calm, inclusive sessions
• Support with CQC evidence
• Something that enhances what you already do
• Not more paperwork, just better paperwork

Then this is exactly what we created Nurturefy for 💚

Not-for-profit.
Impact-led.
Built for care homes.

✨ What a magical Christmas session ✨

It was so lovely to welcome everyone to today’s wreath-making workshop and to see many of our guests accompanied by their daughters and carers, turning the session into a truly shared experience.

There was so much laughter, conversation, and creativity in the room, people chatting, helping one another, and enjoying the simple joy of working with flowers together.

Moments like these remind us how powerful creative, nature-based activities can be in bringing people together, especially at this time of year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day feel so special. 🌲💚
