3 youngsters that came in over the weekend, suffering from cat attack and stomach issues. Also 2 wood pigeons came in, sadly one of them didn’t make it but the other is responding well to treatment. 🥰✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

This was Gwen proving she had definitely outgrown her paddling pool! It’s so funny as Daisy was in the pool 2 secs before but as soon as Gwen got the zoomies Daisy ran to safety 😆.
They both have finally been released, video to follow ♡ ♡
In other news the amount of pigeons coming in is still high, despite saying “I can’t take anymore in” somehow there are more 🙈
Anyway for now I can not take 1 more pigeon in.
Everybirdy here is doing well, little Steve is getting stronger ♡

Thank you to the lovely people who stopped to help this young wood pigeon. She was found on the pavement in a busy area.
The couple did everything right, looking for a nest, waiting to see if there were any adult birds around etc but unfortunately it wasn’t a safe place to leave a vulnerable bird. She’s doing well although she must be missing her family and wondering what on earth she’s doing here. At least there are other youngsters here that she can make friends with.
I’ve named her Dolly P 🥰

This is Steve a baby swallow. He was found at a stable yard. His sibling was sadly dead on the concrete, but luckily Steve landed in a feed bucket. His finder did an amazing job of keeping him warm and safe.
Swallows catch all their food—mostly flies, beetles, and mosquitoes—while flying at high speeds.They do not land to drink, instead skimming low over the surface of lakes and rivers to scoop up water with their open beaks!
