⚠️ WARNING TO RESIDENTS IN LUTON

Please be cautious of anyone knocking on your door offering building work, repairs, or other services and asking for a deposit upfront.

I have received information about a man and a woman who are allegedly going around people’s homes offering work. The woman reportedly knocks on the door first, before the man takes over the conversation and discusses the job.

I have also been told that several people in the Bury Park, Selbourne Road, Dunstable Road and other parts of Luton may have had problems after paying deposits, with allegedly being blocked and unable to get their money back.

If you have had a similar experience, keep any messages, payment receipts, bank details, and other evidence, and report it to the relevant authorities.

Please share this warning to help protect residents across Luton. Let’s make sure concerns are reported properly so they can be investigated.
