Not all mental health medications are the same 💊

Here are a few common types that we deliver to disaster-hit and vulnerable communities: antidepressants, mood stabilisers, antipsychotics and anti-anxiety medication.

Everyone’s mental health journey is different - that is why we partner with NGOs who deliver comprehensive Mental Health and Psychosocial Support programmes to ensure that patients can access holistic mental health care.💙

Yousef, 73, lives in Gaza, where he shares a home with nine family members - a common reality for many families in Gaza facing prolonged displacement and housing insecurity.

Yousef faces a daily battle with several chronic conditions which require consistent medical care and, crucially, uninterrupted access to medication - something that has become increasingly difficult since the escalation of conflict.

Now he depends heavily on humanitarian assistance.

Through IHP’s partnership with Anera's medical clinic, Yousef receives essential medication free of charge.

Now he can access the care he needs close to home.💙

Another month of impact at IHP! With your support we have been able to reach over a million patients with medication in April. From communities impacted by hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, to conflict affected regions of Ukraine, our medicines are reaching the right people, in the right places, at the right time. We have sent shipments of medical supplies, NCD medication, primary healthcare, sexual and reproductive health supplies, and medication for neglected tropical diseases.
Thank you to our community of supporters for making this possible!💙

Introducing the IHP Board!
At International Health Partners, we're driven by a bold vision - to see a world where all suffering due to a lack of healthcare is eradicated. It's a mission that requires expertise, insight, and a commitment to impact.

We're proud to introduce our trustees—a group of leaders whose experience spans pharmaceuticals, professional services, business, pharmacy, global health, international development, and charity leadership.

They are united in a shared belief that healthcare should be equitable for all, and that IHP is uniquely positioned to make that happen.
Each trustee brings a different perspective and together, they’re helping us think bigger, reach further, and build a more sustainable future for global health. Follow along for pt.2!

Mental health conditions affect millions of people worldwide, yet access to support and treatment remains out of reach for many communities.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we are sharing stories that reflect the reality of living with mental health conditions, and the difference access to care and medication can make.

At International Health Partners, we are working to help make mental health support and essential medicines available in vulnerable communities around the world, because everyone, everywhere should have access to healthcare.

The economic situation in Jordan, particularly within and around refugee camps, continues to deteriorate. Many residents depend on unstable daily labour, leaving them without a reliable income and struggling to meet even their most basic needs.

This financial pressure creates serious barriers to healthcare access, as families are often forced to prioritise food and shelter over essential medical and hygiene expenses.

In response, IHP partnered with and Anera a to support refugee communities in Northern and Central Jordan by providing oral hygiene supplies. Through school-based programmes, this initiative helps strengthen preventative healthcare and improve children’s health.

One family shared the joy their children experienced when they each received their own toothbrush and toothpaste—something they had never had before, having previously shared just one between three.

Small interventions can make a meaningful difference in restoring dignity, improving health, and bringing families facing immense challenges moments of happiness.

The need is growing. Over 130,000 people have returned to Syria from Lebanon as a result of the recent escalation of conflict. Access to healthcare is more critical than ever. This year, we’ve supported over 275,100 patients with vital medical care in Syria - including primary healthcare, neonatal services, and treatment for chronic diseases. 💊

Please donate today. Together, we can make a difference. https://www.ihpuk.org/donate

We are amazed by the distance that our community will go to make healthcare accessible for those who need it most!

Thank you Michael for going the extra mile on Sunday in the London Marathon to support people affected by humanitarian crises. You smashed it!💙

Vaccines save lives, but in fragile and conflict-affected settings, healthcare workers are often left at risk.

During World Immunisation Week, it’s a reminder that disrupted health systems can limit routine immunisation, increasing exposure to preventable diseases like Hepatitis B.

In Ukraine, IHP is supporting frontline staff with Hepatitis B vaccines, helping them stay safe so they can continue caring for their communities.

Protecting healthcare workers helps protect the health systems we all rely on.
