Hackney Quest has been providing positive support to young people and families from Hackney since 1988 – we really do make a difference! Over the past 33 years we have made a massive impact on the community because our trusted approach provides positive, long-term support and development projects for families and young people.

What an incredible summer programme we have had so far…. Swimming, cinema, kayaking, flipout,Jiu-Jitsu, pottery, tennis, theatre trip to see Hamilton and an incredible residential too! We are only half way through week 2 with another 2 and half weeks to go. Keep an eye out for all the fun we continue to have. Big thank you to all our partners and funders We love working with you all ☺️❤️🙌🏼

What a day! 35 runners running the Hackney Half for Hackney Quest. They brought incredible energy, ran their socks off and smashed their fundraising targets🙏 They represented for our young people, families and community 🥰 Thank you to everyone that gave them a cheer. We're proud to be a part of this incredible community event. Thank you for letting us share your space.

🎉 WHAT A DAY FOR HACKNEY — AND FOR HACKNEY QUEST 🎉

We’re absolutely buzzing after yesterday’s local elections!

HUGE congratulations to Zoe Garbett — former Hackney Quest volunteer — now officially our new Mayor of Hackney! 💚 From giving her time with our young people to leading the whole borough. What a journey. We’re so behind you, Zoe, and know you’ll bring the same energy, care and commitment to Hackney that you showed with us.

And to Dylan Law — our new Deputy Mayor!!! Dylan has been part of the Hackney Quest family since he was 8 years old. A 20-year-old young Black man from Hackney, one of our young leaders, exceptionally intelligent, kind, and full of passion to make change.
To see him step up as a representative of the community he serves is everything we do this for. Dylan, we are SO proud of you. You prove what young people from Hackney can achieve when they’re supported and believed in.

What a team. What a moment for youth voice in Hackney.

Well done to the entire Green Party and to everyone who stood yesterday — all candidates, all parties. Democracy takes courage. We also want to thank the outgoing councillors we’ve worked with over the years. Your tireless work for Hackney hasn’t gone unnoticed — we appreciate each and every one of you.

At Hackney Quest, we see every day what young people are capable of. Today, the whole borough sees it too.

Here’s to a Hackney that listens to young people, invests in community, and keeps fighting for better 💪💚

We had a fantastic three day youth leadership residential this Easter holidays wonderful residential centre Woodrow.
The young people applied for Youth opportunity fund to do this. We had 12 youth leaders ages between 14 to 22 who put a lot of effort across the three days to develop their skills, increase their knowledge and step out of their comfort zones.
We are so excited to have this group of young people go on to be wonderful youth leaders across our programmes at Hackney Quest ☺️
