Cody Dock

Cody Dock We are transforming a derelict dock into a creative quarter with community gardens and footpaths that will open up the Lower Lea River for everyone.

The charity Gasworks Dock Partnership was originally formed to act as the community led vehicle for the regeneration of this forgotten Dock and its transformation into a creative quarter where people can explore their waterways environment and learn more about the area's industrial heritage.

Shybairn theatre will be bringing a very special performance to Cody Dock this July.

THIS IS WHAT UTOPIA LOOKS LIKE is a site-specific theatre performance, responding to the heritage and ecology of Cody Dock and how it’s entwined with the climate.

Spanning over two days with multiple performances, they will be taking over The Barn to create an immersive installation & performance to imagine what the future could look like.

To make this performance happen. Shybairn have been granted funding from Arts Council & The London School of Speech & Drama. We are very excited to have them!

We are expecting for this to sell out quickly, so get your tickets asap! Link in our bio 📣
