New Zealand’s Prime Minister Christopher Luxon’s public meeting in Christchurch was disrupted this week by an attendee who called out the PM’s support for the Isr*eli Occupation.

The disrupter can be seen screaming: “They k*lled 20,000 children, and you gave Isr*el money! They starved the children of G*za, and you gave Isr*el money! You disgraced New Zeland... If this was the 1940s, you would have supported the N*zis!”

They were then dragged out by security. Luxon could be seen staring blankly, then nodding his head in disagreement.

Despite supporting the ICC’s arrest warrant of Benjamin Nentanyahu, Luxon’s administration and previous NZ administrations have refused to take tangible, material measures to punish Isr*el.

Activists say the government’s continued normalisation, refusal to impose sanctions, and taking no measures outside of symbolic ones that deliver nothing material for the P*lestinian cause demonstrate not only failure to act, but complicity.

Since the G*za ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Isr*el has continued to breach the agreement. By August 2026, 4,280 violations had been reported, including systematic violence against civilians and severe restrictions on humanitarian aid.

Data from G*za’s Government Media Office shows Israel has allowed only 36% of the agreed-upon humanitarian and commercial trucks and 15.4% of the stipulated fuel into the Strip, far below the 600 trucks per day required by the deal. This has left over 63% of needed supplies blocked.

The violations have taken a devastating toll. Since the ceasefire, Isr*eli forces have killed at least 1,266 P*lestinians and injured 4,200, with daily attacks continuing to strike civilian areas and displacement camps. In a single week of August 2026, Isr*eli air strikes killed 15 people in G*za City, including a strike on a beachside café and a municipal police headquarters.

The violence has been accompanied by an expansion of Isr*el’s so-called “Yellow Line,” which has brought over 64% of G*za under Isr*eli military control and forced P*estinians into less than half the territory, effectively deepening the siege despite the ceasefire agreement.

US Special Envoy and U.S. president Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has declared that G*za will not be rebuilt until H*mas gives up its weapons, insisting that Isr*el must retain the “right to defend itself” against any “imminent threats”.

In a Fox News interview, Kushner described the proposal as a “win-win” for Israel, warning that if Hamas fails to comply, “everyone will see that they’re not genuine about peace,” and Isr*el will get even more US and international support to “finish the job”.
“Finish the job” is a chilling choice of words after nearly three years of g*nocide in g*za. What job exactly is left to finish? Does me total annihilation of everyone on the G*za strip. So far more than 73,400 P*lestinians have already been k*lled since October 2023, including tens of thousands of women and children.

And Kushner is demanding that H*mas disarm while Isr*el continues to bomb G*za and occupy much of the territory. In other words, the besieged are being told to put down their weapons while the occupying power keeps its weapons, its troops and US backing.

Kushner presents the demand for disarmament while ignoring that Isr*el’s settlement expansion, blockade, and systematic destruction of G*za’s infrastructure make the Strip unlivable. The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine warned that the Peace Council’s approach “will only encourage the Isr*eli enemy to continue its hostile actions” and must not allow G*za to become a stage for Netanyahu’s crimes.

Isr*eli Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir says that the Occupation should “should k*ll 30 or 40” people in G*za with every attack.

In a podcast episode with Rom Braslavski, an Isr*eli soldier who was taken captive by H*mas, Ben-Gvir discusses his disagreements with PM Netanyahu, stating they should not scaled back operations in G*za.

Ben-Gvir said he would allow Braslavski to personally take part in prisoner ex*cutions under Isr*el’s recently enacted de*th penalty law for P*lestinians convicted in military courts of deadly attacks on Isr*elis.

US-based political analyst Trita Parsi was allegedly sent an image from a US aircraft carrier that showed anti-Isr*eli messaging on what he claims is an aircraft flap.

The flap contained messages such as “Operation Epstein Fury” and “Peace deal #64 incoming... ALL THIS FOR THE HOLY LAND”.

Along with the image, Parsi posted his thoughts:

“I have no frame of reference; I can’t compare it to the sentiments of US soldiers in previous conflicts. But I suspect these are new sentiments, or at least a new willingness to express them this openly and directly. But as one serviceman told me: ‘What people in the media don’t understand when they compare past conflicts to this one is that this operation has no morale behind it. That makes a world of difference to service members deployed to undesirable locations indefinitely.’”
