Kith & Kids' supports families who have a son or daughter with autism or learning disabilities.

Kith & Kids is a charity which provides much needed support to families who have children with a learning disability or autism. Originally set up in 1969 by two families, it provides effective projects and services that enable children and young people to enjoy new life experiences, develop life skills and overcome social isolation. Throughout the year we provide volunteer-supported initiatives th

at enable our members to develop confidence, skills, self-esteem and friendships in a challenging yet fun and safe environment. We provide bespoke in-house training for volunteers fully support their personal development also. There are plenty of opportunities for volunteers to run workshops, training sessions and become leaders.

It’s Marathon Day!!!!

Kith & Kids is so fortunate to have 21 hardy souls running on our behalf at the world famous London Marathon today!

They’ve done amazingly well with their training and fundraising for K&K, and now it’s just the small matter of running 26 miles in one go!

We also have a team of cheerleaders to roar them (and everyone else) on, and are set up at Mile 25 - about 200 metres from Embankment station. If you’re planning on enjoying the wonderful marathon day atmosphere, then please come and say hi.

Let’s get our guys over the finish line!!!!

Hello Kith & Kids!

Fingers crossed we’re through the worst of the winter now, so that thoughts can start turning to spring and getting outdoors more often. Or maybe you set some New Year Resolutions and are still working towards the fitness goals you set at the start of the year?

Either way, Kith & Kids has an amazing running event with confirmed places available for anyone up for the challenge!

It’s the 2026 Vitality London 10,000 (10KM), happening on Sunday 27th September

We’re hoping to build a team for this event that involves all strands of the Kith & Kids family - members, families, volunteers, corporate supporters, and staff. Please share with anyone you think may be interested.

It was a wonderful day last year, with many happy, albeit tired, runners crossing the finish line at Green Park before heading off to celebrate.

As a member of our 10K team we ask that you pay £15 to secure your place and pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of £200 (excluding Gift Aid).

The Monday ELSP group are out collecting today in Tottenham Court Road station, to raise money for their next Residential Project.

What a lovely way to spend an autumnal Sunday morning!

Last Sunday we had a team of runners run 10KM through central London in the Vitality London 10,000, taking in the sights around the Mall, St Paul's Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace, all whilst running their hearts out in aid of Kith & Kids.

Our team was a wonderful cross section of the Kith & Kids family, as we had parents of members, volunteers, a group of our friends at Coulter Partners, a member of our football team, and others new to Kith & Kids, all running and fundraising for us.

It felt so special to be able to greet them after the finishing line and thank them on behalf of everyone at Kith & Kids for all their hard work.

Thanks so much team -you were all amazing!

We ended the term with some fun days out in London. We had an inclusive music session with Joy Of Sound, we visited Alexandra Palace for a ride on the pedalo boats and a cycle at Finsbury Park. The weather called for lots of ice-cream on the day.
