The Heroes Virtual Coffee Club isn’t about showing up with the right words, having a positive story to share, or pretending you’re having a great day.
It’s about real conversations with people who understand the bits that don’t always get talked about.
The tired days.
The strange days.
The days where you feel like you’re doing okay… and the days where you’re not quite sure.
You can join with a coffee, a blanket, your camera on or off, and absolutely no pressure to be anything other than yourself.
Because sometimes one conversation can remind you that you’re not the only one feeling this way.

BILLY DID IT! London Marathon 2026 🏅

26.2 miles. One incredible cause. One unstoppable human.
We were there to meet Billy at the finish line today , a moment we won’t forget 🤍

As a small but mighty charity, we are so grateful for every single step he took in support of Wigs for Heroes. Billy has gone above and beyond to stand with those facing hair loss through cancer treatment, helping restore confidence, dignity, and hope when it’s needed most.

Every mile carried a story, a thriver, a moment of strength. We are beyond proud.

Billy is just £45 away from his fundraising target, can you help him cross the finish line in style? Link in bio ❤️💃🏽

You did it, Billy!

It didn’t start as a campaign.

Just a moment
in a chemo room,
wanting to make someone else feel a little more like themselves.

A small act of care
that quietly grew into something much bigger.

9 years on,
over 5,000 bags have been shared worth more than £750,000 , with thousands of beauty products saved from going to waste.

But more than that,
it’s about how those bags made people feel.

Seen.
Comforted.
A little more like themselves again.

We’re always in need of new and unused beauty products to continue creating these bags.

Some wonderful people have set up beauty boxes at work where people purchase feel good gifts and others have shopped our Amazon wishlist. If you’d like to find out more, donate, or do a drop off which are welcomed at The Heroes Haven, send us a message.

Day 2 of our Question of the Day at ✨

We’re opening up honest conversations about hair loss, cancer treatment, confidence, and the things people don’t always talk about.

Today’s question is a little different.

What’s something people say about hair loss that you wish they wouldn’t?

Sometimes people mean well, but certain comments can feel dismissive, uncomfortable, or just miss the mark completely.

Hair loss during cancer treatment isn’t just about appearance.
It’s identity.
It’s vulnerability.
It’s learning to recognise yourself again.

By sharing our experiences, we help create understanding, not just within the cancer community, but beyond it too.

A whole lotta love ❤️

Moments like this are exactly why we host workshops at The Heroes Haven.

Our events are always small, relaxed groups of amazing people, creating a safe and welcoming space where you can come as you are, meet others and just enjoy being present for a couple of hours. ✨

For Valentine’s we hosted a candle making workshop, and the room was filled with beautiful scents, laughter and women sharing stories while making something special with their own hands.

The Heroes Haven was always meant to be more than a shop — it’s a community space where people can feel comfortable, supported and part of something. Whether you’re in treatment or 5 years post treatment - if you’ve been affected by cancer this space is for you.

Come on your own or bring a friend, you’ll always be welcomed.

If you’ve been curious about our monthly workshops… this is your sign to join the next one. 🕯️visit link in bio to sign up for a free membership and ensure you subscribe to our emails too so you can be kept up to date about upcoming events and more!

We’re starting something new at ✨

Introducing our Question of the Day series, a space to start honest conversations about hair loss, cancer treatment, confidence, and everything in between.

So many people go through this journey feeling alone, and sometimes the most powerful support comes from hearing someone else say “me too.”

So real talk for a moment…

What’s something about hair loss during cancer treatment that nobody prepared you for?

Your experience could help someone who is just starting their journey feel less alone.

👇 Share below if you feel comfortable. Your voice might help someone more than you realise.
