We’re delighted to be hosting the launch of Crystal Palace Community Cinema at the Upper Norwood Library Hub tonight, Friday 9 October.

All of Us Strangers - Andrew Haigh’s moving South London love story starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal.

Doors open at 6.30pm, with the film starting at 7pm. Come along early for a drink, some snacks and a chance to meet fellow local film lovers.

Celebrating 10 years of partnership! 🎉

Last week, we came together to celebrate an important milestone for the Upper Norwood Library Trust – 10 years of working in partnership to support and strengthen our local community.

It was wonderful to welcome Mayor of Lambeth, Councillor Paul Valentine; Helen Hayes MP for Dulwich and West Norwood; and Councillor Robert Ward, Croydon Cabinet Member for Parks and Culture, alongside our volunteers, funders, local organisations, community members and partners.

The evening was a chance to reflect on what has been achieved over the past decade – and, most importantly, to celebrate the people and partnerships that have made it possible.

Together, UNLT has welcomed 1.35 million visits over 10 years and independently raised £2.3 million to support local services and community programmes.

But the impact isn’t just measured in numbers. It’s in the people who have learned something new, found support, met others, discovered a new interest or simply found a place where they feel welcome and connected.

A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to UNLT’s journey – our volunteers, funders, partners, local organisations, community members and everyone who uses and supports UNLT.

Here’s to the next 10 years of partnership and community impact! ❤️

🎬 Crystal Palace Community Cinema is coming to UNLH! 🍿

We’re excited to be hosting the first-ever Crystal Palace Community Cinema screening next week!

Join us on Friday 9 October, 6.30pm–9pm for All of Us Strangers, Andrew Haigh’s acclaimed film starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal.
Set against a distinctly South London backdrop, this film feels particularly fitting to launch a new community cinema right here in Crystal Palace.
