Using our local parks for kids' activities is a massive win for the whole neighborhood. When we bring children outside for things like nature crafts, outdoor storytelling, or scavenger hunts, we give them a chance to burn off energy, make new friends, and take a much-needed break from screens. It also gives them a real sense of pride in their neighborhood, especially when they help out with things like planting flowers or keeping the park tidy. The best part is that park activities are completely free, meaning every single family can join in without worrying about the cost. By filling these green spaces with laughing kids and chatting parents, we make our parks feel a lot safer, friendlier, and more alive for everyone.
