Play Your Part is a volunteering opportunity for those over the age of 18

Croydon’s longest running youth arts charity is offering an array of volunteering opportunities to help us deliver our mission to enrich our members’ lives and the diverse communities from which they come, offering new experiences, employability skills, and support networks.

You can Play Your Part in a variety of ways: Front of House & bar help, assisting in workshops & chaperoning, renovating our building & building sets for shows or long-term strategic thinking to support our future operations. If you are interested, please join us at The Shoestring, Oakley Road, South Norwood, SE25 4XG on Tuesday 4th June at 6:30pm.

A small asteroid has hit the capital city. Thousands have been displaced. And in a town far away, a young man called Vin is finding it hard to talk. The only person who seems to notice is Rach, who resolves to find out what’s troubling him and help him find his voice again.

But when Rach’s family take in an articulate and charismatic survivor of the asteroid incident, Vin’s silence is no longer her first priority. How does it feel when the suffering of others seems more legitimate than our own?

We’re delighted to announce CYTO is the London Youth Arts NPO of the year, curtesy of the Prestige awards!

An amazing amount of work has gone into CYTO over the last few years and lots more to come. No spoilers yet though!
