Today we were joined by organisations, practitioners and community members to collaboratively share insights, reflect on practice and strengthen connections across our sector.
Hosted with LEGACY YOUTH ZONE, this Insight Day was shaped by our collective roles, lived experiences, and shared ambition for what we want to see for our young people and our communities. It was an opportunity to learn from one another, challenge our thinking, and explore how we can strengthen our collective impact.
A huge thank you to Colin Michel, Karlys Simone, Alecia Blackford and Elaine Williams for facilitating thoughtful conversations around Contextual Youth Work, Youth Voice and the challenges facing both young people and the organisations that support them.
We value the partnerships we have built and continue to create with XLP and BelEve who play vital roles in championing Contextual Youth Work and Youth Vouce. Be sure support the incredible work both organisations are doing create opportunities for young people.
Thank you also to our panel speakers - Joel Buchanan, Laura Nortey and Jacy Stewart Prof for sharing valuable insights and guidance on how we can better support young people and continue to build meaningful relationships with those who champion our work. There were so many valuable takeaways from the discussion.
All the discussions today created space for reflection, learning and a shared commitment to working differently and working together.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making today a space for honest dialogue, curiosity and collaboration.
If you joined us today, keep the momentum of today going. Reconnect with the people you met, continue the conversations within your own organisations and look for opportunities to collaborate across sectors. Meaningful change happens through shared learning and as a collective action, not just through one event alone.
