A huge thank you to Westfield London for their incredible support of Felix.

We're delighted to see Felix featured across Westfield's digital screens, helping raise awareness of our mission to rescue surplus food and deliver it to charities and community organisations supporting people experiencing hunger across the UK.

What's especially is that Westfield has been a longstanding partner of Felix, supporting us not only through initiatives like this but also through volunteering and hands-on engagement with our work over many years.

We are closing in on our ambitious goal, but we need your help to cross the finish line. 🏁

Currently, only 4% of the food rescued by Felix consists of cupboard staples—the essential foundations like pasta, rice, cooking oil, and tinned goods that every kitchen relies on. While we consistently rescue high volumes of fresh produce, these pantry basics remain our most critical gap.

This spring, we are striving to secure an additional 100 tonnes of these shelf-stable essentials to support the 1.5 million people currently relying on our services across the UK.

Since 2014, our partnership with Weetabix has been a game-changer. Together, we have redistributed over 25 million breakfasts, delivering hope to nearly 3,000 charities, schools, and community groups. These meals are more than just nutrition; they are a gateway to vital support services that reduce isolation and help people build lasting connections.

While breakfast is a vital start to the day, it is only one part of the puzzle. Did you know that only 4% of the food we rescue is made up of cupboard staples? 🍝🥫

In our 2025 survey, frontline charities named staples like rice, pasta, tinned tomatoes, and cooking oil as the number one items in demand. These are the essentials that turn ingredients into a proper, nutritious meal, yet they are the hardest for us to source.

This summer, we are on a mission to change that. Our goal is to save 100 extra tonnes of these hard-to-find essentials to help us continue supporting 1.5 million people across the UK.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 ballot is now officially open, and we’re looking for runners to represent Felix on the start line on 4 April 2027.

At Felix, we know that food redistribution is about more than just meals, it’s about providing the stability that allows community programmes to flourish.

We are proud to support Blanco Activities Ltd, a fantastic organisation that uses football, sport, and creativity to help young people build confidence, resilience, and life skills. Taijon, one of their youngest mentee football coaches, tells us that being part of the programme has been an "eye-opener," helping him find direction and purpose.

Organisations like this can only focus on mentoring and developing youth when they have the food security needed to run their sessions effectively. By providing nourishing food, we are helping places like Blanco ensure that young people can show up, focus, and grow.

80% of the charities we support say they could be at risk without the food we provide. ⚠️

At Felix, we know that the charities we supply are the backbone of their communities. But a new survey of over 2,700 organizations has revealed a stark reality: the sector is facing a perfect storm.

With food inflation driving up demand and charity costs rising, many of our partners are at a breaking point.

Our research shows:

📉 32% of these organizations would have to close their food support services entirely without our rescued food.
📉 52% would be forced to scale back their operations.

These aren’t just food hubs—91% of these charities provide vital wrap-around support. Think financial advice and mental health care, to emplyoment and housing services. When a food charity closes, the entire safety net for their community weakens.

This is why our work to rescue food is more urgent than ever.

By turning surplus food into a support system, we are helping over 8,000 charities keep their doors open and their communities healthy. As Felix, we are more committed than ever to our 10-year goal: to triple the amount of food we rescue and ensure no one goes hungry.
