Who's excited for Dolly Alderton's take on Pride and Prejudice?

First released in 1813, Pride and Prejudice is the most adapted Jane Austen novel, with productions inspired by the book filming in England's most outstanding manor houses, farms and countryside over the years.

We can expect this latest adaptation later this year in form of a six part Netflix series written and directed by Dolly Alderton. Emma Corrin stars as Elizabeth Bennet, Jack Lowden as Mr. Darcy and Olivia Colman as Mrs. Bennet.

In huge news, The West Midlands has been announced as the UK’s eight official production hub for scripted inward investment film and high-end TV.

Having served as production base for feature film The Immortal Man and the upcoming Peaky Blinders spin-off series, the West Midlands (Birmingham) has been recognised for its studio space, infrastructure and skilled crew base, giving the region official hub status 💥
