Collab Training Academy CIC non for profit operates in Hanley, Stoke on Trent empowering young people and communities through innovative programs in digital skills, music, AI, gaming, and community development.
We're involved in youth work and community engagement across Stoke-on-Trent, working with diverse partners to create opportunities for people aged 16-30 from disadvantaged backgrounds.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised individual to join our small but growing team.
Key Responsibilities -Community & Partnership Support
•Supporting day-to-day operations across our Tech Hub,
Music/AI/Gaming workshops, Community Garden, and youth programs
• Managing databases and participant records
• Liaising with partner organisations, schools, community groups, and funders
• Supporting our "It Takes a Village" youth forum and community events
Project Coordination
• Assisting with event planning and delivery
• • Creating impact reports and case studies
• Managing venue hire bookings
Digital & Communications
• Preparing correspondence, proposals, and presentations
• Supporting social media and community engagement
• Maintaining systems and documentation
General Business Administration
• Supporting financial processes (invoicing, expenses)
• Scheduling meetings and managing diaries
• Office organisation and coordination with volunteers

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Genuine passion for youth work, social impact, or community development.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Reliable and eager to learn
Desirable:
• Interest or experience working with young people or disadvantaged communities
• Creative thinking and problem-solving
• Social media skills
Entry Requirements
• GCSE passes (Grade 4/C or above) in Maths and English
• Ages 18-21 preferred
