Our autumn bookbinding course is already in full swing but you still have time to come and learn a new skill here at Book Works HQ. Our box-making course starts next Monday evening and we still have a couple of spots available.
Students will have the opportunity to learn how to make a half solander box with a magnetic flap closure and a two-part box. All materials and tools will be supplied.

🍂 Take part in a unique artwork by Cecilia Vicuña. 🍂

We’re inviting visitors to collect dried plant matter and found debris from their surroundings for inclusion in ‘Foraging Quipu’, an installation presented alongside ‘Cecilia Vicuña: Living Threads’ at Whitechapel Gallery this Autumn.

A seed pod, a fallen branch, a fragment carried home from a walk. Small acts of gathering will become part of a collective artwork connecting people, place and memory.

Contributions can be dropped off at the Gallery from 2-14 September 2026. Visit the to find out how to take part.
