✨ WE COME TOGETHER… and we’re kicking things off on the RUNWAY. ✨

This October, Homotopia Festival 2026 begins with a celebration 20 years in the making as House of Suarez presents RUNWAY at Invisible Wind Factory.

Celebrating the House’s 20th anniversary, RUNWAY transforms the iconic Vogue Ball into a bold new Platinum Edition, honouring two decades of ballroom, dance and Q***r artistry in the North West. 🪩

And this one feels particularly special to us.

Back in 2006, House of Suarez staged its very first ball, Liverpool is Burning: The Grand Vogue Ball, with Homotopia at the Adelphi Hotel. Now, 20 years later, we’re coming together again to celebrate that incredible legacy, and everything that comes next.

With Legacy as this year’s theme, every category will revisit a Vogue Ball from years gone by, from Sugar Ball and Night at the Poseum to Death by Glitter and Twisted Fairytales. A living archive of ballroom history, with the runway handed to a new generation.

Join us at Sahir House for the All The Devils Community Engagement Workshop, 'Q***r Narratives – From Page to stage process'.

The workshop will be led by Dr Frank Peschier and playwright Jonathan Larkin who will be joined by Sexual Health Practitioner Chris Higgins and wellbeing support worker Moon Scott.

All The Devils is a new q***r play written by Jonathan Larkin, produced by Switchflicker and Alex Ferguson. The play, a thriller set during a chems*x party with murder on the menu, looks at the darker side of s*x. This workshop, a collaboration between Jonathan and Frank Peschier (Headlong Theatre), puts aside the darkness to explore q***r s*x on stage in all its glory!
