Merseyside Scouts Providing Skills for Life to over 12,000 young people, adult volunteers and helpers; serving 145 communities across Merseyside.

There are over 8,500 Scouts across Merseyside who enjoy a balanced programme of adventurous activities and personal development opportunities. Scouting is open to all young people aged 6-25 years and is supported by 1600 adult volunteers in Merseyside alone. Watch our new video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoZPPA9o86M

Personal development means promoting the physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of the individual, helping them achieve their full potential. In Scouting, we believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,' when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.
