Happy Founders Day

27th October is Founder's Day, which this year sees us mark 171 years since the birth of Sir William Alexander Smith, Founder of The Boys' Brigade, in 1854 ⚓

We give thanks to God for Sir William's life and legacy including through the organisation he formed, which continues to seek to advance Christ's kingdom by providing children and young people with the opportunity to experience "life to the full" through coming to know Jesus for themselves 🙌

Monica and Jayne along with Senior section member Lewis and Company section member Ben attended the opening of the Legal Year at the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool today. We joined other members of the Liverpool and District Batallion.

Our Company and Senior section cooked their new Chaplain a lovely welcome feast tonight. Cheese and salami quesadillas, chicken and kimchi stir fry, chocolate brownies, cookies and fruit salad ⚓️. Lots of discussions around mental health and who we would like to have a meal with. Welcome to the 7th Reverend Darren.

We will be back Thursday 11th September at our normal times. 6-7.15pm for Anchor and Junior sections and 7.30-8.45pm for Company and Senior sections

PRIZE BINGO on Saturday 20th September, held in The Cornerstone Centre. Doors open at 6:30pm, bingo starts at 6:45pm. A fun night for all!
