Don't forget we still have our Free Evening Visits offer where Scouts and Guides can book an evening visit at Tawd Vale for free if you are running your own programme. You can also book any of our activities at a reasonable cost if you want to do something a little different.

Many congratulations to Jules from our very own "Team Tawd" on being awarded the silver Acorn by our Lead Volunteer, Chris Valentine-Burrows on behalf of the Chief Scout.

These awards are not given lightly and Jules has viven many years of dedicated service to Scouting to be considered for the award.

Bravo!

Today marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week and did you know that research shows young people who join Scouts have a lower risk of mental illness in later life? 💚

Through outdoor fun, meaningful friendships, skill‑building and open conversations, Scouting supports wellbeing in so many ways.

Check out Scout Store to see their range of badges designed to spark kindness and encourage honest conversations. 👇

According to research, children and young people who take part in Scouts have a lower risk of mental illness in later life.

Scouts can play an important role in supporting wellbeing, through activities and badges, friendship, getting outdoors, and talking about and developing understanding around mental health.

Designed to inspire kindness and encourage open conversations, these badges can be worn on clothing, bags, blankets and more - with all profits going straight back into Scouting 🙌
