Last month hosted cadets from across Sector 5 and 6 for a weekend camp at Dalguise. The Cadets and Staff enjoyed an action packed weekend, with a whole range of activates encouraging safe outdoor training and teamwork. Cadets and Staff were definitely put out of their comfort zones in some activities. Overall the Cadets had a fantastic time, and for a number of Cadets it was their first ever camp.

Also a huge thank you to all of the Staff that made this camp possible.

**Promotions**🎉🎉

A couple of weeks ago had the opportunity to do some well deserved promotions.

First up, Cpl Wright was promoted to Sgt this is a fantastic achievement and thank you for all your hard work. Good luck in your new role.

We also welcomed to new Cpls to our NCO team, huge congratulations to Cpl Bremner & Cpl Bannister, we look forward to working with you both in your new role.

On Friday evening hosted our first formal dinner dance. We were able to share the occasion with cadets, parents and invited guests from across the wing.

During the evening, we enjoyed a three course meal, and then some Ceilidh dancing, finishing off a very successful night.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to support our special event.

A special thank you also goes to CI Claire Fleming & our Civilian Committee for organising this amazing event.

Last Saturday Cadets from across South East Scotland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets , came together for our wing athletics day. Cadets from took part in a range of sport competitions, including long jump, shotput, Javelin, and various running distances. With cadets receiving medals and awards in their respective age categories:

It’s not just the cadets who receive opportunities for progression and promotion!

On Thursday evening, it was announced on final parade that CI Kerrie Fleming has been formally appointed as Acting Sergeant. 🎉

Sgt Fleming has been a long-standing member of staff at the squadron and has notably held the role of Squadron Adjutant for around the last 5 years.

We wish Sgt Fleming every success in her new appointment.

Well done, Sgt Fleming! ⭐️

On Thursday, we had the opportunity to complete one of the first Wellbeing and Resilience Workshops within .wing . Together, we explored what supports positive wellbeing and discussed practical ways to strengthen resilience in day-to-day life.

It was fantastic to see such open discussion and engagement throughout the session.

Last Weekend 7 Cadets from , along with many other cadets from across South East Scotland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets , attended a Multi Activity Camp at RM Condor. The Cadets had a fantastic time taking part in a range of activities and courses, with the cadets passing these courses they had picked.
These activities and courses included: Blue Road Marching, Blue Fieldcraft, Bronze Leadership, Bronze First Aid, L98 Weapons Training and live firing, STEM, and many more.

Well done to the cadets, for all their hard work over the weekend, and thanks to the staff from across South East Scotland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets who made the camp possible

Over the Easter Break 5 cadets from visited Leuchars for some Air Experience Flying (AEF).

All the cadets had a fantastic time up in the air, and they were even lucky enough to see the 90th Anniversary Spitfire as it carried out its UK tour.
