Last Saturday Cadets from across South East Scotland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets , came together for our wing athletics day. Cadets from took part in a range of sport competitions, including long jump, shotput, Javelin, and various running distances. With cadets receiving medals and awards in their respective age categories:

It’s not just the cadets who receive opportunities for progression and promotion!

On Thursday evening, it was announced on final parade that CI Kerrie Fleming has been formally appointed as Acting Sergeant. πŸŽ‰

Sgt Fleming has been a long-standing member of staff at the squadron and has notably held the role of Squadron Adjutant for around the last 5 years.

We wish Sgt Fleming every success in her new appointment.

On Thursday, we had the opportunity to complete one of the first Wellbeing and Resilience Workshops within .wing . Together, we explored what supports positive wellbeing and discussed practical ways to strengthen resilience in day-to-day life.

It was fantastic to see such open discussion and engagement throughout the session.

Last Weekend 7 Cadets from , along with many other cadets from across South East Scotland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets , attended a Multi Activity Camp at RM Condor. The Cadets had a fantastic time taking part in a range of activities and courses, with the cadets passing these courses they had picked.
These activities and courses included: Blue Road Marching, Blue Fieldcraft, Bronze Leadership, Bronze First Aid, L98 Weapons Training and live firing, STEM, and many more.

Well done to the cadets, for all their hard work over the weekend, and thanks to the staff from across South East Scotland Wing Royal Air Force Air Cadets who made the camp possible

Over the Easter Break 5 cadets from visited Leuchars for some Air Experience Flying (AEF).

All the cadets had a fantastic time up in the air, and they were even lucky enough to see the 90th Anniversary Spitfire as it carried out its UK tour.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people aged between 12 (in S1) & 16, you will be involved in activities, such as:

Our parade nights are Mondays & Thursdays from 6:50pm - 9:30pm

On Monday, we celebrated our first Annual Awards Night, an evening dedicated to recognising the outstanding hard work, dedication and achievements of our incredible cadets and staff.
We were honoured to enrol our new Squadron Padre, Padre Stephens, who received her Padre brooch, and to officially induct our newest intake as they made their Cadet Promise and received their enrolment certificates.
