Youthspace YOUTHSPACE (formerly LYPP) is a youth charity working with young people from all backgrounds across various locations.

Our aim is to foster a sense of hope in the lives of young people by creating engaging and encouraging spaces for young people to grow!

YOUTHSPACE is back and we have more volunteering opportunities than ever! This months, join us at the Battle Reenactment for the Battle of Linlithgow Bridge. Come along and help raise some essential funds for YOUTHSPACE at our Car Was. Or cheer on the runners at the Linlithgow 10k and Fun Run with us.
Our Volunteer Programme also starts back this week, helping to plan and organise our future events!

We are back! 🙌 And we are open to all young people from S1-S6 from tonight at Lounge in Linlithgow. Come along and have a catch up about how the return to school is going and play some of your favourite games too! Our 8-9pm session is a focused workshop looking at mental health in women and girls, led by our very own Katherine (Health & Wellbeing Manager), you are welcome to chat as much or as little as you like, and should hopefully find some info that is helpful for you or your friends. Hi folks! Just a reminder that YOUTHSPACE clubs are closed this week but we will be back next week in Bridgend for our P1-4, P5-7, and S1+ groups on Wednesday 2nd September. We will hand out the new consent and emergency contact forms at this club, which must be renewed annually, so look out for these at the time. See you soon folks! 😁👋

Hi folks! Well summer holidays are finally over and we are getting ready for the terms ahead, with a certain countdown getting closer and closer! ☃
This week we have been into Linlithgow Academy to welcome in the new S1's, as well as running our final clubs for the summer. This saw a brilliant highlight for the year occur during our Bridgend clubs on Wednesday night, where we were joined by lots of our P1-7 group and their parents to witness the Solar Eclipse, it was fab! Looking forward to the next one...🤔
Just to note, we will now be on a break (apologies for triggering a generation there!) for a couple of weeks to get planned for the year ahead, and will return with our normal club times on Tuesday 1st September at 6.00-8.00pm in Linlithgow, Wednesday 2nd September at 6.00-9.00pm in Bridgend, and then Friday 4th September at 12.30-3.00pm in Linlithgow once again. Hi folks! Special night for Bridgend (and this part of the world)...it is a solar eclipse, so fingers crossed for some clear skies. We will therefore be based up at the Pump Track and back field to the Primary School this week to run a joint session for our P1-4 and P5-7 groups from 6.00-7.30pm, with the hopes of seeing it in action! We have eclipse glasses to keep us safe, and will be playing games and doing some crafts (weather permitting). Just to confirm, we won't have access to any toilets, so be sure to go before coming for your club time. The S1+ group will then run as normal from 8.00-9.00pm at the Community Centre. See you soon folks! 🌕🌞
