Pick-up Point: Lincoln Train Station
Departure Time: 9:30 AM (Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration)
Return Drop-off: 6:00 PM back at Lincoln Train Station

Ticket Information

𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐓: £50 PER PERSON

𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬: Return coach travel from Lincoln to York and back.
Note: Food, drinks, shopping, attraction entry fees, and personal expenses are not included.

Important Precautions & Terms

Child Supervision: Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Punctuality: The coach must stick to strict driver-hours regulations. We cannot hold the coach for late arrivals at Lincoln or on the return leg from York.
On-board Policy: No alcohol, no smoking/vaping, and no hot takeaway food are permitted on the coach. Seatbelts must be worn while seated.

Following requests from local residents wishing to mark Pakistan and India’s Independence Days, we are assisting in organizing a brief, family-friendly gathering, and we need your help across multiple areas to bring it to life! Beyond finding a suitable venue, we are looking for volunteers, activity hosts, food sponsors, decor helpers, and community partners to make this event a success.

Reconciliation in Action Conference 2026 – International Marketplace

One of the highlights of our conference was the International Marketplace, which was open from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunchtime, bringing together charities, faith communities and organisations from across the UK to share their work, exchange ideas and build new partnerships.

Throughout the conference, the Marketplace became a vibrant hub for learning, dialogue and collaboration. Delegates explored a wide range of displays, discovered inspiring initiatives and enjoyed meaningful conversations with exhibitors and one another.

The Marketplace celebrated the richness of our diverse faiths, cultures and communities, demonstrating how dialogue, understanding and partnership can help build a more connected and compassionate society.

A heartfelt thank you to all our stall holders, exhibitors and volunteers for your time, creativity and enthusiasm. Your contribution made the International Marketplace an inspiring and memorable part of the conference, and we are grateful to everyone who visited and engaged with the displays.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐲𝐞-𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞!🏛️

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly cultural historian Diana Darke’s extraordinary presentation on the Middle Eastern and Islamic architectural influences woven into medieval European heritage sites, including our very own Lincoln Cathedral. Her research, dedication, and contribution to uncovering these shared cultural connections are truly amazing and deeply inspiring!

A massive thank you to the entire team at Threshold and everyone behind the scenes who worked so hard to bring such an insightful and meaningful event to life.

It was an absolute privilege to join Diana Darke and Brant Clayton (Lincoln Free Walking Tour) on stage as a panelist afterward. Together, we explored what it means for our diverse communities to discover their heritage embedded in Lincoln’s most celebrated landmark, and how these discoveries help us tell a richer, more inclusive story of our city's history.

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐧!

At a time when the world feels increasingly divided, and conflicts are pulling people apart, this conference was a powerful reminder of why reconciliation is so urgently needed. Bringing together diverse faith leaders, academics, and peacebuilders to focus on understanding, peace, and unity was a tremendous achievement.

Subash Chellaiah and the entire organizing team deserve so much appreciation for their vision, dedication, and years of hard work in bringing an event of this scale and importance to our city. They have created a vital bridge, giving local organizations, community members, and international voices a space to listen, learn, and connect.

I was honored to attend as a market stallholder at Bishop Grosseteste University. While I wasn't able to attend the opening ceremony, sitting in on the keynotes and presentations offered a wonderfully rich learning and networking experience.

Having a space to showcase our work at Lincoln Connected Communities and connect with so many passionate people highlighted how deeply aligned our shared goals are: reducing isolation, fostering genuine inclusion, and building a compassionate, connected community for everyone.

Thank you to the organizers, sponsors, and volunteers who made this transformative conference possible. Your efforts have sparked meaningful dialogues that will surely continue to bear fruit across Lincoln and beyond! 🌍💙

What an absolutely incredible time we had at the *Wide Festival 2026*! 🌍❤️

We were so incredibly honored to be invited by the fantastic Gainsborough Multicultural Group who organized this spectacular day. Witnessing firsthand how you brought everyone together to celebrate our diverse, beautiful community was truly inspiring.
From start to finish, the energy was unmatched! The day was packed with:
* 🍛 Delicious free food and celebration cakes
* 🎨 Colorful stalls, intricate henna designs, and beautiful face painting
* 💃 Vibrant cultural dresses, stunning bangles, and non-stop music
* 🎵 High-energy Bhangra and dance performances that had everyone moving!
A massive shoutout to the local council as well, who were fully engaged, supportive, and hands-on in making this event such a resounding success. Seeing local leadership and community groups work hand-in-hand is exactly how we build a stronger, more connected society.
At *Lincoln Connected Communities*, our core mission is to advocate for inclusivity and bring people together through events just like this. Seeing the laughter, the shared moments, and the rich cultural exchange today reminded us exactly why this work matters. Everyone felt included, seen, and celebrated.
