If you enjoy the countryside, then we offer you an easy way to make new friends and enjoy the great outdoors We are a Lincolnshire group of the Ramblers.

We are one of ten local groups of the Ramblers that serve Lincolnshire, with our specific aim to cater for those in their 20’s to 40’s who have to balance their work/young family commitments with how much time they can spend walking. (The other Ramblers Groups offer walks during the week as well as weekends for those who have retired or have more leisure time available to them.) If you'd like to get away from the day-to-day stresses of modern life or you enjoy the countryside and you simply want to get some exercise, then we offer you an easy way to make new friends and enjoy the great outdoors. We have a wide variety of walks, ranging from easy rambles to energetic mountain hikes, all led by experienced walk leaders, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. We also hold regular social events and weekends away in variety of locations across the country.

Our next walk, is this Sunday (1st November) at 10:30am from Cherry Willingham. We head west out of Cherry Willingham towards Lincoln, with views of the cathedral, before circling one of the old quarries that provided its building stone. Leaving the edge of Lincoln, we head back east past Greetwell Hall, before joining the River Witham. We then pass through Fiskerton on our return to Cherry Willingham.

Our next walk is this Sunday at 10:30am from Louth. Leaving Louth on this 9 mile walk, we head over to South Elkington and through Welton Vale, across to Hallington and Raithby before returning to Louth through Hubbard's Hills.

Our next walk is a 10 mile walk on Sunday September 27th at 10:30am from Donington on Bain.

We head out north from Donington-on-Bain along the Viking Way, before a short uphill climb allowing us to walk along the ridge line, with far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. We pass through Red Hill, before picking up the Viking Way again for our return to Donington-on-Bain.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.

Thanks to Luke and Catherine for leading our walk from Spilsby today. Some autumnal countryside views, our own maize maze and a ploughing demonstration made an interesting walk, rounded off by a delicious ice cream!

Our next walk is on Sunday 13th September at 10:30am from Spilsby.

This is a 9.5 mile walk starting from Spilsby market place. We cross fields and walk along small country roads, passing through the villages of Partney and Halton Holegate in an easy circular walk with countryside views throughout.

Our next walk is 10 miles this Sunday at 10:30 from Welton.

Leaving the green in Welton we head through Dunholme, before crossing the busy A46 and across fields towards Nettleham. We pass through the village of Nettleham before heading across fields towards Scothern. From Scothern we follow paths and tracks towards Dunholme and back towards Welton.
We pass pretty churches in all four villages and the terrain varies from tracks, paths, fields and some road walking. Please note that some fields have been freshly ploughed and are uneven under foot. They may also be muddy.

Our next walk is on Sunday 16th August at 10:30am from Alford. A varied, scenic walk from Alford through woodland and fields, with nice views from Rigsby towards the coast.

Option of a short trip to Farmer Brown's for icecream at the end of the walk.

Our walk this Sunday (2nd), is our annual pilgrimage to Temple Bruer for a 9.5 mile walk followed by the delicious afternoon tea at the church hall. Please make sure to bring cash with you and note the slight earlier start time of 10am.

Leaving the church, we head down lanes and across fields to Wellingore and Navenby, before heading south east across Wellingore Heath, crossing the old airfield an on to Temple Bruer, before returning to the church.

Our next walk is 8.5 miles on Sunday 19th July at 10:30am from Southrey. We head out of Southrey towards Southrey woods where we follow the path through the woods and out towards Bardney. We pass through the village of Bardney towards the Old water tower and across the fields towards Scotgrove wood and then on towards Tupholme Abbey before making our way back to Southrey.
