HAPPY SUNDAY GUYS!

We're still buzzing after our opening gig at Nevermore Manor last night! Which leads me nicely into today's announcement....

From January, on the second Saturday of each month, we will be hosting a three band per gig monthly original music night, so we're here to a) ask any original artists to stick their hands up to be added to our bands list and b) to announce the sick line up for our first event!

It'll be a fiver advanced and £7 on the door, with the take being split between the performers.

Before anyone accuses us of knicking BOBI's idea (as I did when a certain less scrupulous venue did just that) rest assured we will be working WITH BOBI on this! This is our way of offering artists even more opportunities to play. while cross promoting each other's events.

So, add this date to your calendars and get tagging if you fancy being on a future date!

A massive and extra proud NTKO shoutout to this amazing bunch of people that once again turned out and donated their time and talent in the name of positive mental health tonight!

To have continued and actually thrived in the face of what has felt like the fu***ng deluge is something we need to take a minute to be very proud of, and now we plan to take the remnants and bloody well run with it.

Steel doesn't fear the fire. It becomes something greater because of it.

THIS IS A CALL TO ARMS!

I posted yesterday asking metal and rock bands to make themselves known....

We are super excited to announce that after the fantastic success of last year's FCK Normal Blue Monday mental health and su***de awareness all dayer, not only are we doing it again, but we're doing it TWICE!

The Bird Cage invited us back at the time, which was epic, but we've decided that we also want to host a darker, downright grimier second date which we are calling The Aftermath....

This one is aimed squarely at the metal heads, the punks, the goths and the fabulous outsiders that are the definition of FCK Normal and will take place at the most appropriated venue ever, Nevermore Manor Penny Dreadful’s

We are calling out to bands to come along and help us party for 45 minute slots. Everyone who plays will be (if they're up for it) automatically added to the list of bands we will be booking for another of our events, which will be a ticketed door split. (More about this later)

Do you know anybody whose logo needs to be on this poster? Tag away! We are looking for five bands.

You wanted an open mic - we're back! The Riff Room open mic and jam returns this month on 20th, then will take place every third Tuesday.

Singers, guitarists, bassists, drummers, trumpet players, sax players - whatever your style you're welcome to come meet new people!

Apologies to anyone who is waiting on me for anything. I have come down with a pretty nasty virus and feel like my head is full of dog toy stuffing.
